What IS a SOLOPRENEUR? A solopreneur is a type of entrepreneur building a personal brand rather than a large corporation.  She runs her business single-handedly, as in “solo,” and has no employees but may have independent contractors or virtual assistants, and is most likely home-based.  Basically, a solopreneur is a one (wo)man band!

And a SOULFUL SOLOPRENEUR is one who desires to align their personal and soul-based values to create a sense of purpose and joy in a business that fits their lifestyle.  Not the other way around.

So, are YOU a Soulful Solopreneur (or want to be?)

If you ARE a solopreneur, you may have faced some of the same CHALLENGES that myself and many other solopreneurs have had to overcome in order to be PROFITABLE AND on PURPOSE in a solo biz.

Here are the Soul-Zapping Problems that cause Solopreneurs to Scream for help!

-Working TOO HARD & TOO MANY HOURS and seeing little results, making you want to give up.

-Feeling ISOLATED working at home in a solo biz.

-UNDERCHARGING and not EARNING YOUR WORTH, thus thinking thoughts like this “I’ll never make it in this biz.”

SLEEPLESS NIGHTS wondering how or when you’ll get your next client.

-Being AFRAID TO SELL yourself, your products or your services.  Or, just being plain ineffective at it.  It’s hard to grow when you’re scared to sell.

-LACK OF STEADY INCOME!  The biz isn’t paying the bills and it seems like it’s just an EXPENSIVE HOBBY.  People around you may even be losing faith, which feels terrible!

-LACK OF FOCUS, LACK OF SYSTEMATIC PLANNING.  Your business is bumping along in a haphazard, unfocused way that makes you feel “off course” and like you’re on a hamster wheel.  Heck, it might as well be a job.

So here’s the deal………. I’ve been there.

After working from home for the past 13 years I know about the sleepless nights, worrying about revenue coming into your business, working as fast as you can during nap time or turning on the cartoons, I’m sorry “educational shows,” or trying to tire your kids out at the park so maybe they will go to bed early and you’ll get some work done.  And the constant barrage of interruptions that sounds like this:  mom….mom….mamma?….mom?….mamma…moooooom!”  Or “Oh shoot, did I actually hang up the phone before I shouted “BE QUIET”!

Or how about the endless pile of laundry that stares at you while you’re trying to work; or the children’s books strewn across the floor that you trip over as you walk to the kitchen to fix up something for lunch.  Actually you forgot lunch.  Right?

It isn’t easy creating a home-based business without guidance whether you’re single with no kids, you have little ones at home, or grown ones who have flown the coop, because you do it all.

No matter what, women desire a harmonious working space and home life, AND we want the feelings of pride that come along with generating an impressive income so that we can not only provide for our families but truly enhance the lives of our family members.
